Help! Incomplete Inbound text messages
I just got my Cingular account last 1/25/05 and already have a major problem. I am a heavy SMS user. Why do some of my incoming text messages come truncated? There is a header "1/2" (i assume this means "this is message 1 of 2") but I never get the second part of the message? These are from various senders. And I know it's not my phone (Moto V551) because I tried my SIM in my old Sony Ericsson and have the same problem.

Honestly the only thing that I can suggest, is when these people send them have them send them out separately. Most phones have a character counter and you would be able to see how long of a message it is. A SMS can hold up to 160 characters. I hope this helps a little.
