you are not the only one. we had a good run last fall... now we have the Vu(sucks) and thats about it. There needs to be some mega movement on the handset front I'm sick of selling the same ol' crap phones every day. How about some more movement on the sony and nokia front? seriously at&t stop being so damn stingy when it comes to what phones you are authorizing no one uses your damn nav services how about some got dang phones that are stellar for once.

Because of the slow release, and lack of high end smartphones...

I am seeing more and more unlocked Nokia and Sony's come through my mall...

People are starting to realize they can get these phones they just have to pay a little more for them, or wait 7 months after release, like I did for my Sony K850...

It's happenning and will continue to be a big market...(The High End Devices, Non PDA)

& It's AT&T's Fault for not picking them up for release through their network. They have the network, the money and the maket.

Just seems like they want to keep the American Market, "Dumbed Down"

I have seen a slight drop in sales just cause they dont have the newest phones out and the selection of color has been a big issue where i am for some reason.

AT&T needs more color from their newest phones. Everyone else puts out phones in 3 and 4 different colors at a time and we do two total in color and they are colors that nobody wants. Like the Centro for example, Sprint has what like 3 colors for it i think, we come out with the basic in black and white!!!!! WHY?!?!?!?!?!?! Verizon is coming out with it soon and first out the door for them is BLUE!!!! why would AT&T not go for that!!!!!!

More keyboard phones that are not PDA's!!!! i get asked like 30 times a day for one and all i have is the TILT and the DUO. Noone is wanting...

Well, let's see. In the past 7 months ATT has brought out the Motorola V9, the LG VU, the Samsung Access, the Sony-Ericsson 750, The Blackberry 8110 and 8310, the Samsung Blackjack II and SLM and the Palm Centro. That is 10 high end phones (yes, I know the 2 Blackberries, the Blackjack 2 and Palm Centro are PDAs) in seven months. I have been in this business long enough to remember when Southwestern Bell Mobile had only 5 phones total in the old TDMA days. In the upcoming months, we have the new Iphone, the new Blackberry and I would guess at least one new phone from Nokia, Samsung, LG, and, more than likely, Sony-Ericsson. You have to remember, that when ATT sets up a contract to purchase a phone from a manufacturer, they purchase a pile of...

I understand all that but the phones they have come out recently just have not been big sellers. In my region the Moto V9 and Z9 have not been big sellers i think i have sold two of each one since they came out. The access does not appeal to people down here cause of the look of the phone even if you expalin all that it can do. Nokia is not going to be having a new phone till like september from what my Nokia rep told me. Sony Phones are a big seller with kids if they are slide but the new Z750 is not a seller with anyone so far for me. I dont carry the Iphone so that has no affect on me and LG phones have been kinda slack compared to what they used to be. I know the order process is just how they have to do it and getting rid of all the old...

v9 and z9 should be priced high because our cost on them are high but when they are retailed at a higher price than the iphone it turns people off. there are good selling points for the motos but at&t has ridiculous mark ups and puts them in a bad price point. sony sould be higher priced but at&t asks for it as a specific price so sony uses cheaper parts to meet that price. LG and Samsung aren't very creative and bend over for at&t. if at&t would only mark up the prices from what we purchase them for about 50.00 then it wouldn't be that bad.

i think that customers always want something that another company has. i work for t-mobile (please dont troll me) and i get that all the time to. they dont like what they have access to. i have people come in from verizon and say the same thing and they wish they had some of the phones that t-mobile or at&t has. i think the some people are never happy with what they can get

I know exactly what your talking about, I use an unlocked N95-3!! !! !! That has a REAL camera, REAL GPS, and an HTML browser. . .but I downloaded Opera Mini 4.1.

And I'm looking forward to an unlocked U.S. version of the Nokia N96 to come out, hopefully early next year.

Yep, you can count me in the unlocked crowd!!!

I' ve been using the Nokia N95-3 since December last year. And before that I used an unlocked Sharp V903, both bought on ebay brand new.

I hear the reason AT&T refuses to carry the N95 is Nokia refuses to minus GPS from they're flagship handset.

I heard that too. Everytime AT&T picks up a Nokia phone they manage to screw it up. Carriers should just market voice and data connection. They should stop trying to force services on their customers. Example: carrier music stores and nav service plus others. Stop trying to sell crap to people that don't want it and spend the money expanding your network. Build out the most reliable, fastest, fart...

I completly agree, voice/data/network, that's all carriers need to be concerned about! Carriers don't make handsets, I wonder if European carriers "try" to make Nokia strip the N95 of GPS.

Eventually "regular consumers" will learn that if they want a REAL camer phone they'll HAVE to go unlocked.

I don't see AT&T carrying any SE Cybeshot phones!

The New ATnT Wireless

I think AT&T Wireless' current line up is quite diverse. They have a lot of featured packed phones, all of which look like solid performers.

What type of phone are you desiring? Features, etc?
