Using unlocked phones

Just how easy is it using a unlocked phone? Is it worth it or should I stay away from it? Thanks in advance for the information.
You are missing out on a HUGE advantage of GSM..(worth all the dropped calls and crappy fidelity, buzzing speakers etc)
Unlocked phones are the ONLY way to go if you don't need your hand held around cellular technology. Just pop in a SIM card and go.
The best phones are the ones you DON'T see on ATT's website. Unless you just want the BB or any other mandatory $30 a month data phones.
Me: I have both the N95-3 and N95-4. Since I can spell T9 works better for me. That and I don't use text all that much. I read some email but respond with a call if its going...

It works well! However, you won't be able to do MMS or MEdia Net unless you get the messaging and web browser settings for AT&T on your phone. I think the company will send the settings to you. I'd call in and talk to someone in tech support.
IN fact few do not. Nokias and Sonys set everything up for you.
