Why No New Phones?
It seems that every other major carrier comes out with a group of new phones every other week. Every time I see a new phone on the front page of phoneschoop, I click it with the hopes of it saying ATT but it ALWAYS says Verizon. I feel like ATT is essentially saying "We have the Iphone so we don't need anything else."
ATT used to have the best phones but we now have nothing comparable to the LG ENV2 or the new motorola 755. Now I see the Glyde and the Dare are also for Verizon.
We get the Pantech Breeze.
What gives?

i agree. even though many on here will pull the 'buy the unlock phone' card... i must say that i have never seen our line up get this boring. i just hope at&t is waiting for vz to put out all they can, in order for them to start putting some phones out there... (i guess they want to have the last laugh)

The iPhone 3G and the Bold are coming out soon, plus there are plenty of good unlocked phones. What do you want? A low end phone? simply a text phone? I think at&t is kind of steering their marketing and efforts away from that. The battle between the Bold and the iphone will be at&t's bread & butter.

so just to let you guys know my samsung rep was in the other day and said att approved and will be launching 13 new samsungs in the next 6 months. with at least 2 that will be similiar to the glyde and env from verizon.
