Iphone 3g & old iphone + regular family talk plan = questions
I have the old iphone on a reg family talk plan which has unlimited family text msg for 30
We have a toatl of 4 lines, only one is an iphone. I want to upgrade to the new iphone 3g and give my wife my old iphone. She is currently on the sync.
Should I add unlimited internet for 20 on her line, so all she would have to do is swap sim cards? Or should I just add the new iphone with internet for 30. and then try to add internet to the old iphone? would the charge for the old iphone be 20 or would it be 30 also?
One last question, If you have am reg family talk plan, and unlimited text for 30.00 will the new iphone 3g be able to use the unlimited text as my old iphone does now?

Upgrade your line...the store reps will activate the 3G phone but before you do; sync everything from your 2g phone to ur pc...then go to Itunes to activate your wifes 2g phone. It will put you in a two year agreement upon activation on itunes. The 2G plans are still available for the 2g Iphone only.. so yes, she will have the 20.00 iphone plan if you select it. And yes, the 3g phone will be able to use the family messaging unlimited plan.
