DOn't buy 3G iphone poor batt life with 3G

with exchange and GPS & wth 3G , it ran out in 4 hours.

anyway exchange was slow ( email came in 40-60sec after hitting send button, yahoo push was like 2-3 mins )

returned it &

went back to my blackberry.

Its a beautiful phone but no juice.

any 3G phone in 3G coverage area is going to have a short battery life. for any company.

thats true, but how can they call this as a phone for enterprise user with business apps etc. the thing with enterprise on did not even last 4 hrs, where will the business user run to fill batt power in this thing ?

Wow that sucks, and after you charge that internal battery a couple hundred times it gets less and less....

Shoulda bought an N95-4. I get a full day if I use 3G and some of the features and 8 hours if I use all the features. But with a phone that powerful I have to carry an extra battery.

As for exchange - I would check your exchange server. I tested out exchange and the "push" was almost immediate.

If I remember correctly, the push technique is an open connection to the server, so of course battery life will be a little shorter. I would recommend doing an automatic pull every 15/30 minutes unless you really need the push. I get too many e-mails for it to be convenient.
