time for upgrade?'s lg vu or shine?
time for my upgrade. i like the lg vu. any opinions. is it worth the price. my ohter choice is the lg shine. or sould i just wait for any new comers?
...
shine or nothing ....
vu is just too much for not being able to do alot
...
thanks i liked the shine. the vu was kind of gadget fun for me..the price really is not an option i just want a good phone. i have a sync now, and wish i did not.
...
I would suggest neither. I had the shine for about 2 seconds and hated it. Granted it has its qualities but the fact that you can't sync it with your PC without having to purchase about $70 worth of third party stuff is ****. Besides that if that isn't an issue for you then I would go with the Shine as the camera is great for a 2mp and it feels solid in the hand. The slide takes a bit getting used to as it is almost like slamming a door shut. Kinda scary at first.
The Vu is just a joke and even a corp rep told me that.
...
I wouldn't get the shine, I had the shine and the slider eventually broke, but the phone couldn't keep a signal in places where I usually got a signal.
Performance wise that phone was a complete waste of money and in return I got an even crappier Samsung Slim or whatever the hell that phone is.
ATT needs to work on getting some more SE and NOKIA phones, because LGs and Samsungs are not cutting it.
...
i completely agree .... nokia and se are better phones but the samsung nokia reception is usually better minus the features .....
we failed to get the N95 because att is so ****ing greedy they don't want to let u have features on a phone unless they can charge u for it
att has completely ruined Cingular/bellsouth..... even though att is on the cutting edge of things .... they are about to monopolize the country once again and i am not liking it one bit .....
i hope the government steps in and makes them break apart again
...
Hold on a second that is such a socialist way of looking at things.
remember people determine markets, and determine what phone provider they want.
If ATT really starts to nickel and dime as much as we are claiming, then people will leave, but goverment stepping in and breaking up the so called monopoly is just always a bad idea in my mind because some are more successful than others.
if people don't like that they can go to Verizon, Sprint, T-mobile, or Altell...its not exactly microsoft.
...
i work for att so maybe im talking more about the job then anything else
i just see alot of things changin for the worse
thats all
