I am not liking some of the things i am hearing about the Iphone plus I am sick of waiting for it. The dropped calls is what bothers me mostly. Here's what i want in a phone. I would really like a touchscreen. I would like to access the internet. I would really like a music player. And I would really like to spend about 200.00 Any suggestions?

the VU isn't a bad device either. you may be able to get one rather cheap if you get the model with out MobilTV.

What about the tilt or the moto Q. I know the moto is not touchscreen. The centro is only 99.99 with a 2 year contract. I will be signing a new contract so I can afford a little more than that.

The Q is a great device but a bit large (wide). The Tilt will be out of your price range by about $50-75 unless you can find a refurb on the site when you upgrade. I know I saw a few for about $150. As for the Centro I do not know much about the it to comment but I do know from past experiences that the Palm OS is ****e. Also if you have big fingers that would be the worst device for you as the keys are quite small.

The Centro is actually pretty solid, I've found. At first, I thought it was crap (naturally, seeing as I've dealt with the Trio). I think the Vu is probably your best option, based on what you're saying. After rebates, it's $200, and it's 3g, where as the centro isn't.

The Q is a great device, but it's discontinued, and the Tilt is a LOT of phone.

beergirl; where did you hear the Q was dc'd? That think just came out and there isn't anything in the pipeline to replace it.

As for you comment about the VU, I have only heard bad things about it. But I guess the best think to do is go to a store and try them out for yourself. A lot of the corp stores sales folks (okay all of them) use the current phones as their own and the ones I have spoke with are more then willing to let you try it out to get a feel. The ones they have on the walls are a joke to test with.

The Moto Q9 is discontinued: http://www.mobiledia.com/phones/motorola/disc ontinued/page1.html

There is a new Q, but AT&T doesn't carry it.

And even the authorized dealers (like myself) use current phones. My manager has the Vu. My other colleague has the Blackjack II, and I'm a blackberry girl (although I like the 8800 more than the curve, so I still use that). We have no problem letting people play with our phones either. I've personally tried every phone in the lineup.

Go for the VU its gonna be your best bet. Not to over do any one here but i have had no problems out of them and i sell 5 or more a week and not one has come back yet. Its got everything you need.

But if you want a good deal on it come see me in North Carolina cause i have the Non TV for $120 after rebates and the one with TV for $175 after rebates so come holla at me and we will set ya up
