Yup!

Wants even more shocking is the GRPS prices!

.03/kb
2.99 for ZERO!(thats right ZERO! kb) but they lower the per kb rate to .02
4.99 for 500kb
9.99 for 3MB

These plans suck!

The incredibly sad thing is that they STILL compete with Verizons data plans.
They charge out the rear for their data. I think they still use your minutes for the mobile web feature.
I don't know what they are think in regards to the messaging prices. Just plain dumb.

It's not a problem for me, as I do not use data service. 😛

I do hope that Cingular makes smart business decisions. One thing that Cingular attracted me is their free roaming with national plan, which is not available from others.

Media basic and works packages are still offered on cingular's website - under text messages and Instant Messages. 😕

Just a suggestion... Anyone who thinks that they may like these current plans, sign up on them now, and worse case scenario you can cancel it later if you dont want it anymore... But that way you get the package you want now. 😉
