iPhone text messaging & Bluetooh headsets
How do you forward text messages with the iPhone 3G? What is the best bluetooth headset on the market in terms of call clarity, overall performance & battery life?
...
It doesn't support forwarding text messages. If you really need the message for whatever reason, you can take screenshot (using the the home key and power key) and then forward that picture in an email to whoever needs it.
And for your second question, why would you want o use bluetooth headsets with the iPhone? I mean, come on, don't lie, the only reason you bought the phone is because it looks badass - with the bluetooth you can't make a scene by whipping out your phone and flicking your fingers across it, or being seen dancing down the street with those "iconic" white earbuds in your ears 🙂

and as for your response for the second question...
uhm what about if you don't want to hold the phone, say, when you are in your home and could just walk around with a BT headset talking on it, or better yet...
what about in California where you have to wear hands free devices by state law or you get a nice little (hefty) fine.
I think the person was looking for a straight answer, and i understand your point, i think most people walking around with BT in their ear look like major tools, but i think he was looking for an answer to another example of its use.

That would be correct! I always use a bluetooth when I'm driving. I always get complaints that people can't hear me well or wind noise causing problems. I've used the moto H500 & the H700. I keep hearing blue ant is the best however the guy at the at&t store said otherwise. I however prefer real world feed back from people who have used different headsets so I can make an informed decision.

best bet would be to do a google search on Bluetooth headset reviews and you'll come up with about 2 dozen different sites. Or u can go to several different sites that sell them like bestbuy.com or amazon.com and they will usually have several user reviews available. That will get u the information you are looking for quickly and easily.

I have the MOTO H500, and yeah I don't hear real well either on them, as old fashioned as it sounds, i prefer the wired ones.

I actually like the Jawbone....not the new one but the old one....I know its a little big but I can drive down the road with my windows down air/heat on...with my 12" alpine subs in the trunk....and my wife can only hear my voice that is no joke I have tested it many times....although I couldnt hear her very well. but who really talks on the phone with all that stuff going anyway.
