No More Candy Bar Phones
My manager told me this that cingular is thinking about goign stricktly flip anyone else hear this?

your manager is wrong, although not completely. Cingular made an agreement with nokia only to carry bar style phones from nokia.

Nokia will be the only cellphone manufacturer to produce candy bar style phones for Cingular. That's as much as I know. Are we still going to carry Siemens? That brand of phone is one we could definitely do without. They're just no that good. Anyone else on the Siemens topic? Agree or disagree.

Agree witht eh siemens; as far as the samsung phone goes this isn't a immediate change so that maybe still be released but as of now it's still tenative

No not strictly flip, but the signed a contract with Nokia, stating the Nokia is the only manufacturer for "candy bar" phones, mnus the select markets that got the samsung c207

Yeah, from what I understand it is being tested in certain markets first because the LG 9100 (which in my opinion is no comparison) is not selling as well as they anticipated... But hopefully out soon. I only got my hands on the "hotness" because a friend of mine who works at an agent won one in the ALLPRO MOTO contest that motorola ran for agents. It's HOT though.
