Has anyone else?
also
did they change the sim card when u got the new iPhone ???
that could possibly solve the problem as well !!
nokia phones usually have better reception but u should be just about as good as the moto if not better
i take it u have a 3g iphone
if so
put your sim card in one of their phones and put theirs in your iPhone and see if that may not show u its the phone or the SIM card ...
good luck with it
have them push another update your phone
that may solve some probelms and it may not
never a guarntee
but i can say
the best solution is atleast if not more then once a week
turn your phone off and back on
i do a batter pull on my blackberry almost everyday (as i have 2 batteries)
but u don't have that as an option cause yours in internal
anyhow
try the first trick out with a friends sim card
cause your account could be having issues also
i have seen that a time or two when something on the backend of our system will hinder your reception
thats when a phone call to customer service asking for tech support may do u wonders

That is correct Fredd per CSP it is not recommended to do a swim swap with iphone...or vice versa with a 3g device and 2g device. 🙂 HOwever the iphone doesnt have a special sim it is the same 3g sim just provisioned different on the network with the visual voicemail provisioning.
CSP is wrong .... i have never hurt a phone by doing that .... atleast a 3g iPhone so far
and i have put many of 2g sims in 3g phones to copy contacts and vice versa .... never been a problem
who ever wrote that on CSP is not a very good troubleshooting technician

I do not believe the other phone's SIM will work in the iPhone. iPhone has its own SIM, which will work in other phones but not vice versa (from what I have been told by a Telecom manager I work with, it may burn the non-iPhone SIM).
THAT IS NOT TRUE !
its the same sim card in everyphone
