I have Blackberry Curve now and getting tired of feeling like a business professional. Anyone out there have the Vu? Let me know what you think.

I'm a heavy user...so let me know how the touch screen works for you. I owned the first iPhone...so i'm aware of the finger smudges and such... just tell me about the feel, etc.

Thanks so much

As someone who uses a curve and sells the vu. We get a lot of Vu's returned from people who are buying into the touch screen hype. I'd say that you should stay with the curve. Its just flat out easier to use for a power user and gets better reception. But, as always, go try it and take advantage of the 30 day buyers remorse if you don't like it.

The only reason i'm even looking at it...is because of the tv/video/camera features. As you know...the curve is kinda bla. There is only so much emailing you can do while waiting at the airport. ha ha.

Does the phone feel cheap? How does the tv work?

tv is awesome. Just make sure you research what areas mediflo covers because as of right now its just major metropolitan areas. They also just added 3 more news channels to the lineup.

Its build quality is so so. Its really light and is 100% plastic. but Lg makes fairly durable phones. I'd just head to a store and check it out if they have one(we've been backordered for a week)

We have been told that we can no longer order the vu. It stayed on backorder for forever and I received an email last week stating we can no longer order either the cu915 or the cu920. Anyone else heard this?? 😕

I am in a retail store and on our monthly equipment update, we found out that the VU is being discontinued. There is another LG coming out, but not sure if it is to replace the VU But chances are if a store doesn't have any VU's they most likely won't be getting anymore.

I was told COR stores are no longer offering the VU only authorized dealers and our website...not that is matters cause most of the people that bought the VU exchanged it for the Iphone anyway cause the mediaflo dosnt work where we are, and the touch screen is more sensitive on the Iphone...however I would waite for the Blackberry BOLD to come out...the first 3G Blackberry, its going to be awsome. Sounds like a good fit for what you need.
The TV is awesome! HTML Web browsing is fast and flawless in 3G or EDGE. Small and lightweight. Same size screen as the InStink but a lighter smaller package. Just enough features and customizability (is that a word) without being overwhelming.

The battery isnt the greatest and several other phone get better reception but overall a solid choice.

Radio Shack will have these in stock next week. Same price as COR with NO MIR.
