GSM Frequency Areas - 900 vs 1900 - need definitions

Can anyone help me to find a map or other form of definitions for Cingular frequency areas.

I don't know if you can find an actual "map" of the areas, but you can find a written text of what frequencies are used where at www.gsmworld.com Is this what you're looking for? Cingular has 850 and 1900 in the US.

900 is and international gsm frequency, not anything cingular owns or operates in the u.s.
There are roaming partners throughout the rest of the world that use the 900.
There is not alot of 1900 left in the u.s. most of what is used is the 800/850 which is definately the better of the two for cingular.
I do not know of any map that will give you a detail of where it is 1900 or 850.

I can say for sure New York, Cali, North/South Carolina, south MS,AL and North Florida and all new markets entered since 2002 are 1900... most of Texas, LA, north Miss North AL, West TN, South FL are 850... Those I know for sure, now like MS that is split with 850 and 1900, where they actually end and begin, not sure...

And, 850 vs. 1900; 850 is a lower frequency, so better building penetration... that's about the only difference...
