ATT Towers not available to Cingular Users in my area
ATTWS has a tower on the property where I work. If you have ATTWS you can get max bars any where in the build. My Cingular phone and others with different types of Cingular phones still get marginal service. I read all of the posts for SIM card etc. So I go down to the local store and they tell me that the ATTWS towers in our area had not been setup for Cingular use yet. She stated that this was supposed to happen sometime in the next month or two. She also stated that a upgrade to a 64K SIM would not help until this transition is complete. After that it may help.

Even after they have been set up the phones will have to get over the air updates on irdb info. in my area we have several at&t that migrate to us they are even haveing problem getting on cingular towers in areas that cingular customer with long time cingular mobile numbers are fine
