BB Bold unlocked?

I've been buying my phones unlocked for quite some time. Is there a big difference on buying BB Bold unlocked? if so, what are those differences?
BTW, This would be my first BB, so I'm somwhat new to this.

I betcha the BB Bold will be very, very expensive. As in no less than $800. I paid $491 for my unlocked N95-3 on ebay.
