So what is the deal if a person is within their 2 year commitment and the screen breaks. Can they get a new phone and extend the 2 years or do they have to PURCHASE a phone at full price?

Thanks
Mark

From my experience unless you had insurance on the device you basically are SOL and will have to purchase the new one.

Though, for anyone to really answer your question to the fullest. First would be how far into your 2yr commitment are you? I am not a CS agent or even work for the company but I do know that if you are at certain points in your contract they will give you special discounts. Also if you can maybe sweet talk a corp rep at a store you might be able to work something out.

Hope this helps some. Good luck in getting the new phone.

Typically you must be 21 months into your contract. If you are at least 6 months into your current one, you can do an exception upgrade. The phone price will be 2 year pricing plus $75. Still a better deal than full retail.
