question about sending video to a email account using my video phone
I have a v551 and was wondering what video format does it record in? I ask this because when i send video to a email account no one seems to be able to view my video emails. is there something i can do because its pointless having a video phone and not being able to use all the features. Would it be easier if i had a video phone that can record in mpeg-4 format?

It has to be played back on a computer that can play the 3GPP format..Nokia has a multimedia player that does that, but so does Apple's Quicktime player..if you are sending it to another phone, they should be able to play it..and no, MPEG-4 isn't going to make a difference..

MPEG-4 is the the format most phones are using for video currently.

Doesn't matter, if you don't have a player that doesn't play 3GPP format, your video will not play on a pc..my phone records in both formats, but only plays back in 3GPP..

go to download.com and type in 3gpp in the search tool and it will give u a list of programs that you can download and will support the video format.
