Speaking of the Blackberry Bold......
SO I broke down last week and bought one brand new handset off ebay. It is at&t branded, but boots up with Movistar telefonica software. Strange but ok. Ringtones are very refreshing versus my Curve.
Media net, and MMS works just great. No at&t Navigator. Still so far so good.
I added the IMEI to my account and it shows up as a Bold 9000. Score for insurance purposes!
On my Curve, I was able to have push email. When I attempted to set up my POP account via yahoo small business, under email set up, it ops for enterprise server only. No option for personal email set up like the curve.
I have the lower case edge instead of upper case EDGE in the top corner. My a...

What model phone is it? An AT&T branded Curve but the IMEI shows up as a Bold?
What version of the RIM handset software is it running?
To get your e-mails again, you need log into your Blackberry account (use the personal e-mail setup icon, it takes you to the right webpage). Under Settings, click on Change Device. Enter your new PIN and IMEI.
Also go under Advanced options to the Host Routing Table. If it is empty, click the blackberry menu button and select Register Now.
This is an att branded bold with an att BOLD IMEI.
Operating system is 4.6.
I have gone under the host routing table and have hit the register now button 27 times. No dice.
I think the pin is blocked.

Delivery of e-mails is primarily a RIM side function. I assume you logged into your RIM mail account and changed your device info with them, too (as well as sending host routing table registrations).
I would check with Blackberry support as the most likely first step to resolving the issue. It could be something simple, or maybe RIM has blacklisted that device for some reason. After all, the AT&T branded Bold has no...

I am not certain if AT&T insures phones that were not part of their inventory. Although this one has an AT&T brand on it, you stated it didn't have the AT&T software so it may not be recognized by their system as an insurable phone. It would be a good idea to contact customer service and confirm that IMEI will be actually covered. If not, there is no point in paying for insurance. Since you purchased the phone off eBay and not from AT&T they have no obligation to cover it.
Go to

from your PC. Login to your BIS account (the one you were using when you had your Curve).
Select Change Device from the menu, it is on the left.
Enter the Device PIN and IMEI.
This is the standard procedure you must go through when changing to a new Blackberry device.
If you have done this already, OR if that did not seem to work, then contact Blackberry for assistance.

Thanks for the responses.....
When I pop the bold IMEI and pin number in the bis/att website, it says the account is suspended.
Perhaps, I have a hot phone? Or the pin isnt set to activate until the at&t release of the bold.
When I had my previous curves (3 total) I never had to use the site. I just poped in my email and password on each handset and it pushed again.
I would recieve a text via Blackberry that my pin has been updated.

It's definitely something you will have to talk to RIM about. Just be honest. You bought the phone off eBay, just like thousands of people do. I don't know how much you knew about the phone (did you think it was an unlocked phone or did you know it was an AT&T branded phone prior to release?) but the important thing to find out is: will this phone ever be useable on their BIS network, and if so, what do you need to do to make it happen.
Honestly, I would go with the $49.99 tech call to RIM, it would be worth it just to avoid the frustration of being passed around between people...

2nd, have you tried to power cycle the phone sir?
You may have answered this already but I didn't really feel like reading all of these replies since most were either redundant or off-topic. Does the BB Browser show up as well as the Media-Net browser? This seems to be the same issue that I have seen on videos on you-tube with people showing hands-on demo's.

he mentions at about 1:39 that Rim turned off the pin to that particular phone since it was bought off ebay before it was released...
