Unlocking phones?
if i get the sidekick 2008, the newest sidekick, cand i unlock it for at&t and still text, pic message and talk? If so, how would I unlock it?

Okay, for future reference please read the threads before posting a new question as this has been answered in several different fashions.
Now for your question. I am not sure how you would unlock the Sidekick and I guess my question to you would be how are you getting it? If it is from Flea-bay then you should request it be unlocked by then before purchase but if you already have it check out some of the unlocking sites out there. Google does wonderful things when you search. But try thetravelinsider.info or gsmunlockintl.com and again search for "how to unlock cell."
When it comes to you being able to take advantage of ATT services as I am not familiar with the Sidekick product and its settings you may or may not be able to. Real...

you may have to call the Sidekick manufacturer. Sharp? and get the settings for internet and MMS. Call them before you actually get the phone to find out if there are any. AT&T (Cingular) never carried Sharp phones. However, AT&T Wireless did.
