So call me retarded but what are the exacts about the water resistance? Is it like the Gzone and can be submerged or what? Someone may have already answered this but I didn't see it. Thanks 🙂

It is water RESISTANT, not waterproof.
It is NOT immersible.
Do not accept any other answers.

Thanks! So when it says rain proof it just means if water is dropped on it, right?

Pretty much - case is rubberized, sealed, but not adequate to be immersible. So OK in the rains or perhaps a bar-top spill, but don't go swimming with it!

Hood4,

The biggest difference is pressure. Anytime you submerge something in liquid the pressure becomes greater that your standard air pressure. Water spilled on a sealed phone such as this will not be able to penetrate the internal workings of the phone. If it is submerged the pressure of the surrounding liquid forces said liquid into the lower pressure "air" environment inside of a phone.

If you drop this phone in a puddle of water you should be fine. If you drop it in a pool you are most likely toast.

Whenever a phone gets wet, it has to make a saving throw vs. water with it's resistance modifier figured in.

Which means it can still fail its saving throw and suffer full damage from the effect.
