Judging from the new of all these new gsm phones coming out it looks like Cingular is about to smash the competition with their lineup of phones. Half of them are push to talk(are they telling us something). Good days are ahead my friends 😁

Just because a phone's stats list PTT doesn't mean the phone/carrier will have it. It just means that the eqiupment could support it, if the hardware, software, and services are present to do so.

I also hope that's a fad that goes away. I like being able to reject calls without people knowing they've been "rejected". Not everyone who calls you is worth talking to. 😁

I wish they didnt! I am annoyed enough by the way it is now, I couldnt even imagine listening to both sides of the conversations everywhere I go, so far the ones I have been forced to listen to (people with nextel) are hideous and completely unnecesary, I was at the cafeteria and this girl was "studying" while also using the speakerphone and she was talking to her bf (I asumed) about how she likes the color pink, then she went on to get into details about fabrics and blah blah, I ate quicker than usual just so I wouldnt hear them anymore...

Do you buy those panties pre-twisted, or do you go to all the trouble of tying them in knots yourself?

Sheesh, try to be pleasant and vaguely amusing around here--wasn't aware that the fate of nations was in the balance over what happens when you reject a call. Incidentally, it goes straight to voice mail, so there--was that useful enough for you? 🙄

Yes everyone is getting into the PTT game since Nextel's patent expired..I would almost bet anything that once Cingulars patent expires on rollover, all carriers will pick it up..

A lot of people don't know that a few years ago ATT Wireless offered rollover to compete with Cingular. It wasn't that great because it was on TDMA.

maybe... but i'd like to see some improvements to the network... i'm in arizona, we only had attws here before, and the network is horrid... roaming deals with TM seem to help a little, but cingular's still on the bottom of the totem pole here.
