Cingular Reps
😁 I know that there are several Cingular reps in here. Got a question. For us all to work @ the same company it looks like that all of us have different info on certain things. Aren't we suppose to be the same company state to state. I just see that in some markets that info is totally different that what you see, hear, & are told to do in other markets.

I agree... But it is hard to keep things all in uniform...

With wireless companies, especially Cingular, the offers in one market may be 10 times better than the next market x miles away. And don't even get started on divestiture... Companies need to figure out that they should not limit their customers because of the market they are in, unless it is that much more beneficial to the company

I here that. I am told everyday what I can & can't do, but a customer that may be from a different market tells me what they have done for them anytime that they enter a location. Nothing agaisnt internet & telesales but those priced will KILL a retail locations business. I mean when get people that come in, ask questions, look at phone & plans, then leave the store & buy online & GET IT FREE!!

Cingular has always undercut the dealers when it comes to equipment pricing, however they expect the dealer to take care of their customers as if they were their own. I have found most of the dealer, technical and customer service representatives to be unfriendly, unhelpful and unwilling to help the resolve the customers concerns, they are like "oh, sorry you are unhappy, but there is really little I can do to resolve you problem". Cingular seems to have no customer relations department and no way to escalate issues which need to be researched, reviewed and acted upon in a timely manner, except by writing a letter to someone at the Corporate level, which will in turn send you a generic response.
