I need some advise, I have a blackberry pearl 8120 but it is a T-Mobile phone. Don't ask why it is a T-Mobile phone, I got stupid one day and decided to try them and regretted it from day one, so I got them to cancel my contract but I got to keep the phone. My question is if I was to download the firmware from AT&T website would it take all the T-Mobile crap off of the phone and make it into an AT&T phone? Is there any advantage to doing this or should I just use it the way it is? Yes the phone has been unlocked. Thanks for all your help!

Thanks for responding to my question, yes the phone is already unlocked. By installing AT&T's firmware to an already unlocked T-Mobile phone, it will remain unlocked, after the AT&T firmware is loaded, correct?

Update......A buddy of mine just bought an unlocked, jailbroken 2G IPhone, so I put my sim card in it and it worked flawlessly. Even the data package worked on it. I think I will now buy one also on Ebay. Thanks for your help and comments.
