Does anyone know how a name can be voice stored in the phonebook for the Moto V551? I have been trying to figure it out from the useless manual that comes with this phone. And does Cingular charge to utilize this option? As in is this an extra service?

The voice tag in the v551 is part of the phone. Cingular does not charge you to use that, though they DO have a seperate 'Voice Connect' service they offer.

In the v551 Address book you need to store the entry to the phone and not the SIM in order to access the voice menu. Once it's stored on the phone you will see some new menus show up in the entry details, one of them is the 'Voice Name' option.

Select the Voice Name menu and follow the on screen instructions to record a tag for that particular entry. Once you have an entry recorded you use the Voice key on the right side of the phone and speak the tag you entered. The v551 should then open up the address book to that entry, repeat the tag, and dial.
