And most of our phones, especially MOTOROLA and NOKIA have voicedial built into the phones, so basically my question to you is what the hell are you talking about? 🙄
He's talking about voice connect service, where you can store hundreds of names and numbers, not just a couple of them on the phone.

Unlike U.S. Cellular, Cingular has failed to offer speech recognition dialing and speaker phones on their mid and low priced phones. They also seem uninterested in adding these features in the future and I believe this to a key selling point to U.S. Cellular over Cingular Wireless. Cingular says these features couldn't be added to GSM technology, but I believe this to be untrue, Motorola and LG both said it is up to the carrier as to what features are incorporated into a new handset...any input would be appreciated.
um WHAT? BOTH of those features are built into phones and there are a TON of phones that have those options, WTH are you talking about?
Cingular also offers Voice Connect which is a service that allows Voice Dialing as well as many other features such as "Escape-a-date", Reminder calls, wake-up calls, etc.
They are 2 different things.
