is it true the motorola v551 only gets 32-48 internet speeds?

I was at gsmarena.com and it said that the v551 only got internet speeds between 32-48 kps. Is this true? i thought it would be faster because the phone is edge capable.

Mine too. With a 64K SIM & being on an EDGE network of course. According to CIngular all their network is now EDGE enhanced
