Cheap replacement phone to use with a regular ATT SIM card.
I would gladly buy 2610 refurbished for $10 if it only had bluetooth.

Yeah, well, good luck. It has been well documented that carriers are cracking down on sales like you with to attempt. They are subsidized handsets to be activated with Go Phone service.
There is a massive used phone market with many gtood products to choose from. I recommend you shop there.

Hmmm... I heard that rumor about go-phone sweeps years ago. Back then it was debunked.
Why do carriers need to subsidize one thing with another and then pretend to be upset? Can't they un-bundle phones and service the way utilities do it? Who benefits most from this bundling and re-contracting?

REAL Go Phone customers who may be on fixed incomes or have bad credit, etc. benefit from subsidized handsets that do not require a contract. The carriers rely on retailers to properly limit sales and require Go Phone activation to purchase the handset.

It was not debunked. Carriers are suing and winning left and right. The difference is Wally World has trouble enforcing the rules with those wonderfully trainied employees.
So just go buy a used phone.
