Concerning the BB Bold Rebate

I had a customer come in asking for the Bold without the BIS data plan. I told him that he had to have the data plan to be eligible for the rebates. He said he could get the rebates with only his current $20 texting plan. I did show him specifically on both rebates (the $100 main and the $50 dealer) where it defined the requirements.

Yes, previous rebates have worked with the unlimited texting, and these still do with any phone except the Bold.

Also keep in mind these rebates are not available to secondary lines on a family plan. The rate plan for the number must be $39.99 or higher.

On the plus side, Blackberry is accepting trade ins when you upgrade to any Blackberry phone. You can visit www.blackberry.com/graduate and get a ...

You do get a rebate on a 9.99 line as long as you have the BB plan. Also, the rebate goes by the primary line even if its an add a line, not that you claim it as an add a line, as long as the account is on a 59.99 FT plan the add a line will get a rebate if it has 30 bb data. Dont tell me no, cause I know I am correct.

I'm just reading the fine print on the rebate. It states:

***Requires activation on a Blackberry Personal Plan or a $45 or higher Blackberry data rate plan plus an AT&T Voice Plan of $39.99 or higher.

If they pay you on the $9.99 plan that's awesome. But if they don't you can't complain.

Well we as a dealer would get paid on an add a line anyways. Its the customer that would not get a rebate. Anyway, It states that it has te be a BB plan of $30, not $45. The 39.99 on the rebate form is based off the primary line. A 9.99 line will still get a rebate. Call your RAE, they will confirm what I have just typed. 😁

Mine states:

**Requires activation on a $30 or higher PDA/Blackberry Rate planplus an ATT voice plan of 39.99.
