Depends. You can bill third party services to the account. Other than that, not through most channels that I'm aware of.

You will never be able to bill to an account at any store location. You can only bill to an account if you purchase something from cust. ser. over the phone. Even if you have a FAN you can not do it in a store.

Right chalk it up all you want. I'm sorry but acount billing is nothing. Ya so what your cust can't afford to pay for their phones right away. How lame is that??? If you don't have the money you don't deserve to own it...

As for the billing on cru accounts, I don't know any store that will allow you to do that. Even if the ECPV profile says they can. I worked COR for four years and never once were cust allowed even if it said they could.

we bill to account in stores when someone says " I only brought enough for the phone" or " I wasnt planning on buying a phone today" ...it is called s a l e s m a n s h i p.

I know you know nothing about that, but it works in making our numbers the best and it is very nice to have that option.

A customer takes it as a compliment when I say" you have had a account with us for quite a long time, and as a loyal customer you do have the option to bill everything to your account today."

Not that you would know anything about being a sales person, your just a person who grabs the phone and has them sign at the x. Typical.

Don't you come and even try I don't know how to sell. You don't even know who I am. I'm not sitting here and bragging about how awesome of a salesman I am but I take care of my cust and have a lot of repeat business because of my abilities and my relationship with cust. You are just feeding your cust a line that makes them feel good about them selves which is not good salesmanship. It makes you look like a used car salesman. Which we can all agree we ahet with a passion.

quit being a troll and work the other forums. the reason ATT doesn't allow account billing is because Verizon, Tee Mo Bile, and Sprint have shown that there are people who want a new phone and can't pay their bill, much less for a new phone. quit ragging on a rep who does a good job. I prefer that a customer pays up front. It means you get paid up front. Much better than waiting for them to pay their bills (or not).

none of those companies listed will take bill to accounts if there is a past due or if they have had a past due withing the last 3 months.

r e s e a r c h. invest in it.

And if they pay for the phones with a credit card, thats not up front, that C R E D I T. so do you prefer cash only in your locations?

lmao

Look...due to fraud issues Bill to Mobile option is only available to certain credit classes and other criteria the account has to meet: tenure; features; etc... Thats great that verizon bills to mobile.. YAY!!! Now lets take the ratio of bill to mobile accounts and see how many are cancelled for non pay... or how many the equipment is credited back. It is a loss to the company.

when the equipment gets the consumer to lock in for another 2 years, thats not a loss. when the account charge is for necessities or extras for the handset, that makes the customer happier with their handset, and thats not a loss either. When given the option, customer comes in to talk about their bill, and a GOOD salesperson talks them into adding a line with a Voyager for example, the customer only brought their ID with them, this is the PERFECT oppurtunity to bill to acct.

Or you can let them walk for not having the money, and they can get their stuff online and you get no credit for anything then.
