How are all my Cingular peeps? 😛

The marketing world is keeping me busy. I'd like to thank all the guys at Cingular who kept the faith and gave it the extra effort to prove me right about Cingular's current success. Keep up the good work guys... we still have a million miles to go, but we are definately headed in the right direction.

As a consumer, I think the company could do better. Please explain to me the marketing strategy behind hiking up the rate plans. Or how about the marketing strategy for ATTWS customers by saying that they get great deals when migrating, but when they attempt to do so, it just costs the customer tons. Or how about the craptacular features you can add on now... which cost more for less.

When my contract is up, I am cancelling. There is no point in paying more when you can switch providers & pay less for the same thing (or better)

I think Cingular sucks major ass & have no qualms saying it. 👿 😈 😡

I totally understand your point Lucky. If you have "qualms" with the current offers, just wait. I hate them too, but it could get better soon. I know that they wont make it last. I heard from my Cingular Bird that there have been so many complaints within such a short amount of time... things may change in a matter of months. Just wait patiently. They cant screw you forever... 🙄

FCC... To maintain a balanced market, things must always change. Otherwise you could create a monopoly or a stalemate. Things go from good to bad & vise verse all the time. Its just the way things are.

This discussion clearly states that a merger like Sprint-Nextel will probably become a reality even though their networks are totally opposite. More competition is always good for us, the consumers. Just look at Alltel who just bought out Western Wireless. Also, Verizon just bought up spectrum in hotly contested Houston. So all of these companies are growing closer to tougher competition, better days are ahead for wireless.

Good proof of that is for the first time in years VzW lowered their plans. That is a first!

They can keep the same plans as long as they like. Competition just means at least 1 competitor.

No secret where my loyalties lie... Unfortunately though... I agree with everybody that has seen our new rate plans... It's horrible... Definetly a dissapointment... Don't know if it's to try and be as tough as VZW or what... Just dissapointing...

WHOA!!!! HOLD YOUR HORSES!!! The call plan rates have actually dropped! What are you guys talking about!!! Last year the 400 rollover plan was $49 a month. It's the plan that I'm still on. Now it's $39 month for the same thing. I'm signing up for the new plans as soon as my new phone arrives. As for text messaging. It was $9.99 for for 750 messages and now its 1,000 for the same price!! Not only that, instead of two text messaging options Cingular now has 4 or 5 options. I have no idea where you guys are getting your info. I've been a cingular customer for over ten years and the plans just keep getting better. If I had not been waiting for a new phone I would have signed up for new plans by now.
