Just got it, great phone but, small but... Is there a way to have reminders on my phone when i miss a call/msg etc... I know it has a flashing light which really never flashes anyways, lol... I looked around the phone and couldn't find it but i figured i'd ask since there are much brighter techy people out there... thanks.

I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for, but you could try this.

Go to your call log by hitting the call button with no numbers present on the screen. Hit the menu button in the call log. Go to "options" then to "Call Logging". It should have the circle next to "None" checked. Try chaning it to "Missed" and see if that works.

With my previous phone (Razr) lets say i was in the shower when i recieved a call... once i come back into my room and the phone would beep reminding me of a missed call. So basically a beep notifier/reminder so i don't actually have to look at the phone every time i step out of my room...

Hm, let me look around abit and see if I can find a setting. I'm using 4.5 so it might be a little different. Hopefully I can find it and it will translate. 🙂

Hm, not that I can find. Yours may be different. Try going into Profiles, then Advanced. Go to Normal, then hit the Menu Button and select Edit. Under there look for something regarding missed calls. I couldn't find anything under my 4.5 os for it, but it may be different on yours. Good Luck.

it gives you a LED light flashing when you have missed calls, but a beep is a much better idea than a flashing light which isn't even that bright... thanks for your help, definitely appreciated...

I know exactly what beep you're taking about. I think you'll get used to not having it. I did. I think moto is the only manufacturer that has that beep reminder. I found it very annoying when I missed a call/text in the middle of the night. I'd keep hearing that beep while I was sleeping. I sure as hell don't miss that! LOL I also hated the other low battery beep. Oh that's moto! I miss nothing of it!

that just shows your missed calls in your message folder.

I had a program called 'Blackberry Alerts' or something very close to that.
It worked GREAT and did what your asking about. I know for sure you can find it at www.handango.com
That's one thing I loved about Blackberry's, so many 3rd party apps.

I am looking for an extension on my ringtime because i'm only getting 10/11 seconds to answer the phone... How can i extend my ringer length (And please don't tell me I have to purchase another App.)

No need to buy another app. Just call AT&T and they can extend you ring times. It's a quick fix.

Lol, yea i know i did it this morning... 30 sec was too much because my friends are very impatient (Part of being a New Yorker) and wouldn't leave a voicemail so i knocked it down to 4 rings (about 20 seconds.)
