I have aquestion for any customer service people or anybody at this point , why do I get a different answer each time I call and I;m always patient and nice? heres my story : I got my cingular phone the day after thanksgiving weekend because we had att tdma and got booted out because of the merge thing so there were no cancellation fees or activation fees fore a new cingular contract. so we did it, 3 phones. the first 30 days were fine no problem then we got a HORRIBLE screeching/ gargling noise. at first i was told it was the phone (lg c1300) so they exchanged 2 times and then they finally gave me a motorola, that didnt solve it so then they opened a case thing and well, they havent called me back or anything the problem should have been fi...

i work in a cingular call center and if you didnt get a callback then you need to call in and have some one take a look at it for you , your right it could be the area you live in, it could be a known issue in that area, like i said i would call CC and have them see what happened to your case that the only way you are going to know what was done to try and fix it, thats my advice

if you are still within 30 days of opening acct then you can do buyers remorse and only pay for the time you used , but if your are out of your 30 days then you would have to pay for liquidation fees 😎 and no prblem for replying thats why im here 😎

i called cingular today, the case is still open and they tech guy put some sort of high profile thingy on it and said to call back within 4 days if they dont call me back. he said though that if this doesnt work I should not have to stay with my contract because I have about 22 months left. He also said that they may buy back all my phones and then that usually takes care of the early termination fees- I'm assuming. or they will let me go with no fees, and I keep the phones which I doubt that will happen. but all this is up to the supervisor....has anybody ever heard of things like this??? I just want my phones to work!!! ☚ī¸

They would pretty much do everything under the sun to get it to work, but i can tell you they don't waive the cancelation fees, they would worse comes to worse, would send out an engineer to your area to see what you are having problems with.

The main reason i say they don't waive the cancel fees, is that everyone could say that to try to get out the contract.I'm not saying that you are, but other people could try that.

In the end you could get swapped out for GAIT phones that they still have in reserve to get you better reception, and perhaps some sort of compensation. I nkwo that you want good reception, and thats we want to give you.No matter what phone we need to give you.

yeah, I've been battling them over getting something done for about a month now....and I have full coverage here but I live in the mountains. so that might be a big part of it. I honestly dont want to get rid of the phones ya know? from all the test calls they made they can hear it so they know I'm not lying and I would love for them to do everything possible and I'm being patient but I keep getting different answers and excuses. I've spent $100 in replacing sim cards, I bought a $200 upgraded phone from them and nothing is better....so hopefully...thanx for the response!!!!! 🙂
