More Stupid Questions

When my two year contract is up, what are my options? Month to month, have to start a new one or two year? I can get a phone at Wally World or Sam's for less than at at&t, so if I get one and put my sim into it, will I get hassled by at&t? Will all the features work?

To be honest and fair since you want all the option. I would avoid getting a phone at Wal-Mart yes it would be far cheaper. However if anything goes wrong with your phone or account Wal-Mart will do very little to help you.

A quick read in the forums and you will find plenty of issues from people who have bought their phone from Wal-Mart.

The best customer service most of the time will come from a well known retailer like Radio Shack, Best Buy or an ATT corp. store.

If you want a new contract and phone, you have a couple of options

1. Sign a new contract with ATT. You will get a new phone at a reduced rate.

2. Buy a phone at full retail price. This cost will be in excess of 200.00 depending on the phone. Now I know what y...

Thanks a lot for the info and advice. I will check into some of those options. I will most likely stick with at&t in some form, they are the most reliable in my area. Again, thanks!

after your contract is up you will go to month to month if you keep the same phone, of buy one off ebay.

You don't have to renew.

You can buy a phone anywhere, although I always recommend a locally owned store. Level of service will always be worth the few dollars difference on the phone (and the selection is much better).

What you say is true however, the cost will normaly be more then what the price sticker says in the shop.

A Unactivated phone with out re newing a contract will start at about 200.00

Re newing a contract and the cost will be less.
