I'm tired of verizon and want to give ATT a Go.

I'm going to sign up for a two line family plan, and want two Rugby's.

Any reason not to sign up using Amazon? The phone are 1$70 each at the store, amazon will sell two for 8 bucks?

They will give you 250 off instantly. Here are the terms and conditions.

250 Instant Discount Terms & Conditions
The purchase price of your device reflects an instant discount of $250 that has been provided to you by Amazon.com based on your agreement to (a) activate a new, non-substitute line of service in connection with this device, and (b) maintain this service with the selected rate plan in good standing for a minimum of 181 consecutive days.

you should get a trial on the at&t service for 30 days. how amazon handles that I have no clue. But heaven forbid you don't like the service good luck returning anything. Go to a store and see how close they can come.

ok thanks. at the store it will be close to four hundred bucks, yeah i get a hundred bucks back in a few months but still. I suppose i could go into a store and ask how close they could come, but I'm sure it wont be ten bucks. Unless something drastic happens i don't plan on returning anything, and Amazon does have a first class reputation. Any other input from anyone is appreciated. thank you

It all depends on how much I bought the Rugby and the features you have to have and any accessories. Take a print out of the deal and take it to an dealer or even COR store and see what happens. I know we need opps right now and it could be something that a store that needs sales would do if what you are getting along with the phone is worth it.

If I where you I would stay away from all online only retial store when it comes to Cell phone, for two reasons, #1 they almost always mess the account up in someway, and I heard that amazon sells some of thier phone at the regular retail price even though its a used phone, secondly your not dealing with real people and when you want to exchange your phone cause you dont like it you have to do it by mail with amazon

Caooing rollover likely had nothinhg to do with Amazon. Whenever you drop down in plans, your balance is capped at the total of minutes in the plan you are dropping to (i.e., if you have a rollover balance of 11oo minutes and drop form Natl 1350 minute plan to Natl 900, you would be capped at 900 minutes).

Honestly why do people buy electronics online? It's like buying a car and never really seeing or test driving it. Just plain dumb. And reviews on electronics (especially phones) dont mean ****, go to a store with the print out and even if you have to pay 50 bucks more overall it'll be worth it.

I always do my upgrades with Amazon, and never had any trouble, I upgraded with them last month and did not like the phone so I sent it back and they were quick to let AT&T know that I returned it and I was still able to upgrade to the iphone with AT&T the same week. I just upgraded my other line with them today and my RAZR V9X for $24.99 should me here in a few days. By the way ATT wants $200 for this phone.
