The rebate requires activation of the $30 per month unlimited data package.
Voice plans and text messaging and data plans are all charged seperate with AT&T.
Text unlimited is $20.00 per month
The smallest voice plan (for one line) is 450 rollover minutes that includes 5000 nights and weekend minutes and unlimited mobile to mobile.
If you have questions about other plans or services AT&T customer care is knowledgable and the wait time has been under 30 seconds alll month.

buy at best buy. it's 250 NO MAIL IN REBATES, and you don't have to sign up for any particular data plans or anything.
