Why do you guys (Reps) put up with Cingular's bull? Why don't you just find a new job? It seems to me that alot of the reps that post here aren't happy with their job at Cingular. Why suffer? Find a new job! or STOP COMPLAINING!!

Oh come on, like you never sit down and share complaints about your job with your co-workers? If you don't, I'm amazed, and congratulations. If you do, it doesn't necessarily mean you're out desperately searching for a new job, does it?

No, but they're here CONSTANTLY complaining about their jobs, it's a little annoying if you ask me.

No one is forcing you to be here. If something annoys me, I distance myself from it, but that is just me. You need to chill out, regroup, and be thankful for all the helpful you have received here from the "CONSTANTLY complaining reps" as well as others.
Keep in mind, this is their forum, and as with any job or profession, when lots of the same people from the same line of work get together, they discuss and share their experiences, both good and bad, with each other.
Think of this as a convention for Cingular reps, but the entire public is invited to attend. If it doesn't suit your tastes, exit - stage right.

We may complain about our jobs, but that is just because it can be stressful. Also think about how much consumers complain about a company when they have issues. Just because we complain, that does not mean that we don't enjoy our jobs. Think about it this way too, there are a lot of us (meaning Cingular reps, one form or another) on here, and that means that we will probably vent at one time or another, but it is probably different ones. Not the same ones over and over again.

Customers are customers. They're the same no matter where you go. The forum is a great way for these guys to release tension and share their stories. Some of which was frustrating at the time are actually quite funny by the time it's shared on this forum. I've had good experiences with the Cingular reps and I'll stand behind them. At least with me they've been honest and hard at work to find solutions to my situation. Explains why I've been a customer for over 10 years. Keep up the good work people. 🙂

Well think about this, as many as are complaining are the same ones on this forum discussing news, phones, policy, and helping the consumers. (And like me) could probably be spending their time doing something else. But they are here doing what they love to do talking about technology.....but it is not always fun. Call centers will put you in the hospital from stress, but someone has to be there to answer your call-- or what would you do?

Most of the people that do complain work in some sort of call center. i work in retail, and i love my job. i might complain about an annoying person here and there, but overall, i am more than satisfied with my work.

what the jello are you talking about? i love my job. good pay, good benefits....amusing dumbarse americans to ralk to on a daily basis...and i do it all while my rear end slowley expands to the size of my chair. i get to snack all day...and the random vto on fridays is fun. i wouidnt really say i piss and moan about people....im merly amused and sometimes irritaed at the massive stupidity thats present in the american cutlure. i think your gene pool lost its life gaurd alonnnnnnnnnngggg time ago....either that or "ya'all been drinkin from da fountin 'o stoopid" again. lol but i must say, it is highly amusing 99% of the time.

I like my job. Usually its co-workers or the inability to help someone that frustrates me. If there is a call that I think is ridiculous I usually just laugh at them. But everyone does need to vent at some point in time. 🙂

I think you misunderstand us reps. We do not hate our jobs at all. We just have some issues with our employer.

For the record, I love the fact that I work for Cingular...I truly believe in the company and its products...I just wish I could be doing something other than deal with ignorant people all day sometimes 😉
