Plans to expand network anytime soon???
Has anyone heard anything about building new towers and where their going to expand their coverage to? I'm in the dakotas, and there isn't a single tower in the state lol.

Cingular has recently finished adding around 1,200 new towers in states where the coverage needed desperate improvement. I'm sure they have continuing plans to expand/improve coverage where it is problematic but I don't know where the Dakotas lie on their priority list. I'm assuming that if they haven't worked on that area thus far, it's going to be a little while longer before they focuse their attention in those states.

I was told by my indirect account agent that Cingular is planning to be coast to coast with their GSM coverage by the end of 2005. Now I know it won't be solid orange like the old GAIT map indicated. HOwever the GSM Nation map will be significantly solid orange by the end of this year. Of course this includes not only AT&T towers and what ever piddly roaming agreements that T-Mobile offers us. Who knows.

Add Colorado Springs to that list. We do have some towers but, still get crappy service. Tried it for a month and canned it. Rep told me to cycle my phone often.....I said more than three times a day!!!
Nah, just cancel!
Let's just hope they know that by putting up those towers and offering the great phones they can be "the Cellular service".
Who wouldn't want a Razr or SE 710a if it came with dependable reception.
