a friend of mine just got a blackjack II from her cousins boyfriend and the phone says it can only be used with a specific sim. he did not put in a code and does not know what it could be. i called att for help and they told me to call samsung who in turn told me to call att back. can someone please help me so she can use this phone. thank you in advance

Your cousin's boyfriend's sister's wife needs to call AT&T to get the handset unlocked. AT&T will not give a random person the unlock code.
You can also google to find someone who can unlock Samsung phones in your area.

If they are in good standing with AT&T and they technically fulfilled the agreement on the Blackjack II then customer care can get them the unlock code for free. There is history on the account to reflect they used to own the Blackjack II.

YOU can't call them. The person who purchased the phone from AT&T has to be the one to call them.
