I would be very, very surprised if there was even one instance of 4G deployment interfering with existing 2G and 3G CDMA service. AT&T has problems because they are trying to shuffle spectrum from 2G coverage to 3G coverage. LTE is going to be deployed in virgin spectrum- no shuffling needed.

On a brighter note, I found out something interesting about 700 MHz spectrum coverage. Check this out: Qualcomm's MediaFLO is already operating in the 700 MHz band in most places where Mobile TV...

I'm not speaking about interference, I'm speaking to the hand off issues that may arise. AT&T has had several devices that struggle with handing off between 3g and 2g towers when 3g is not available. Verizon will be handing off between two totally different networks, LTE and the EVDO network - that's what I'm speaking about. Not a fan boy, just pointing out a potential obstacle.

Fair enough. Moto demonstrated successful hand offs in a lab setting about a year back, but it's any body's guess how well this would function in a real-world situation. You may be right.
