I've had the phone for 3 days, but there are things I need help with since I haven't been able to figure them out by myself. This is my 1st BB. BTW

3- I set up my email accounts very easily, but I can't see any emails I got prior to the day I got the Bold.
4- I'm getting faster at typing on in. I like that.
5- my phone switches back and forth between 3G and Edge at home while browsing the net. (I haven't really used it anywhere else yet)

I like the pho...

do you use gmail? then change it in the settings...

if not then you won't be able to get anything beyond when you set it up... maybe you could go to your email and check all as unread and see what happens.

The e-mails on the account you had prior to setting up won't be picked up by the BIS. Crackberry's comment about switching to IMAP is an interesting one, but as far as I know they simply won't come through whether its on IMAP or POP.

Yeah, as far as I know the only difference between IMAP and POP is that IMAP allows you to delete on mailbox and handheld at the same time, where POP does not.

I took it to the store saturday and the guys at the at&t store agreed with on the fact that I have a defective Bold. I didn't want to exchange it then, because I wasn't sure I was gonna keep it. But, I'm getting much faster typing on It.
I still don't like the bb browser that much. I know about the opera mini, but is there a better one out there for bb?
