Another Good Reason Why "Unlimited Roaming" Is A Fallacy

Because if roaming REALLY didn't impact Verizon like the fanboys claim, they would let their customers roam off of domestic GSM networks as well as CDMA. At least three of their new dual mode world phones have cellular and PCS GSM capabilities. Verizon once had tons of roaming agreements with AT&T back in the analog days, so how easy would it be to hook up their world phones to their GSM network and merely forge agreements in the few places here and there that the two companies don't overlap?

Since doing that would put VZW over the top in every coverage category, one must ask the question, "why don't they do it?" Simple. It's the money, stupid! Verizon must, like any other wireless company, pick and choose what areas are most needful to c...
