In general, how long do SIM Cards last?

Is there any need to replace them every so often?

Sim cards usually last 4 to 5 years. It also depends on what type of phone you have. For example, if you have a cingular branded sim card and an AT&T 3g cell phone, chances are you need an AT&T 3g sim card.

I had my sim for 4 or 5 yrs now and I was using it with my wifes old LG Shine for about 3 months. Usually whenever you upgrade they normally give you a new one.
