Femtocells?

Is AT&T still testing and/or developing femtocells?

Wasn't there a trial going on in a test market somewhere?

In telecommunications, a femtocell—originally known as an Access Point Base Station—is a small cellular base station system, typically designed for the realization of high-density deployments coverage in urban areas, offer a service allowing high quality to users without using base stations, previously used, higher power and visual impact.

Femtocells are an addition to the wireless network, providing low-power access points connected via copper lines, eliminating the need for microwave links and base stations.

Femtocell technology, borne singly deploying GSM (digital mobile), UMTS, Wimax, Wifi, and any wireless technology with or without license.
