calling someone w/o having the phone ring
is there any way to call someone's vm without having their phone ring??? đ
...
no that would be cool though đ
...
see i had this # 702-501-6789 and it would ask what # i would like to leave a message for. that way i can leave a message w/o talking to someone and it doesnt work anymore and i was wondering if there was another #
...
probably against the law in some form or fashion âšī¸
...
maybe but it was cool when i had it but i wish i had that # again đ

The "backdoor" voicemail number everyone else is talking about, I believe, works this way if called from a non-cingular number. (in my case it's 1-704-451-8989) Also, if you call your voicemail, then press 5 (the option for "restart") you can enter the phone number of who you want to leave a message with without actually calling them. (this only works with cingular customers)

i'm pretty sure it's not against the law. from one sprint phone to another you just have to put 2 1's before the area code to go straight to the person's VM

It's possible. I do it every once in a while. đ
(I have Cingular GSM, LA area, people I'm leave messages with also have Cingular GSM/LA ... so not sure if works any other way)
