Like.. 3 days ago i got a call from the at&t store.. which is weird.. the manager called me and ask how my service was and checked on me. which thats great! then he said in a couple of days i will experience drop calls and some outages cause there updating there towers. I have 3G at home but only about 2 bars. I get 3G everywhere, but when i go to basements or lower level places it switches from 3G to EDGE. Today.. I woke up looked at my iphone, full 5 bars of 3G!!! this is awesome! AT&T has stepped it up! I turned my phone off and on, then switch from EDGE to 3G, and wow! I still have full 3G!! and now everywhere i go even lower level places 3G full!!
GREAT JOB AT&T!!!
I am glad yo...

yeah i have no problems, and its gotten really better! im glad. fanboys do make it sound really bad lol. but in all i have a totally different experience. 😁
That is the case with most carriers. If you live in a strong coverage area, the big four will provide good service to you. I personally like AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, and T-Mobile as carriers because they are all stellar providers in their own right. They are not perfect, but they all have decent networks.

if im not with AT&T then ill get T-mobile. These 2 are the only GSM providers. I cant do the CDMA phones.. CDMA phones suck and they lack style unlike the GSM ones. I need unlocked! haha
I prefer GSM over CDMA because it gives you greater freedom over handset choice. Plus, with GSM it's easier to switch phones. That, and in terms of voice, I like GSM better.
But CDMA is still very good. I used it for a short period of time, and had no major problems.
I had CDMA before.. wet my phone and all my data was gone! so yeah... no CDMA lol.
But im sure every carrier will adopt GSM.. I know in canada telus which is CDMA is switching all to GSM.

CDMA is good in rural areas that i have seen, but i live in the city and barely go to the rural areas. I agree with you, i prefer GSM cause freedom of handsets and easy to switch phone, i have 2 sim cards backup just in case i lose this one.

GSM is the global standard! I don't think the U.S. carriers who are CDMA will switch to GSM, for one thing, it will be too expensive.
