My Account Online
I just established a new account with Cingular about 1 week ago. I have been logging onto my account on Cingular's website and it is telling me that there is no information on my minutes usage. How long do I have to wait until I can monitor my usages online?
Thanks

I think they are doing some site maintenance. Last night or the night before, I could see my minutes, but today I can't.
Also my online bill is no longer showing if the calls were incoming or not! I think they have some web-monkeys mucking with the live site and making it worse.
Previously, and assuming they get it back to normal, their online site was excellent with your "view details" showing calls almost to the minute; you could see details for calls made earlier in the day, AND incoming calls also showed the originating number -- something other carriers won't do (Sprint).
The only annoying part is getting prompted for a re-login every 5 or 10 minutes, even when clicking through pages (not inactive). That's just boneheaded. ...

One of the main systems Cingy uses for account maintence was upgraded late Saturday night, and I'm sure that affected the website somewhat. I wouldn't put much faith into the website, it's always been plagued with problems.
In the meantime, if you don't need an itemized call detail you can check your minutes using *MIN# (SEND). You can also check your balance using *BAL# (SEND), and please everyone... lets not forget paying your bill using *PAY (SEND). It's quick, easy, secure, and saves you a stamp.

I use those features quite often ralph. I always pay my bill that way...

You say that as if there are people that don't pay their bill....I can't believe that would happen. 😉

I can't stand the Cingular website. It's slow and difficult to navigate. I have 3 phones on the plan, maybe that's why, switching through the #s and all.
Does the #MIN show the usage of all 3 numbers on a family talk plan or is it just what I'm using? Does it take out the M2M calls? I've heard different things from the different reps I get.

if you are on a shared plan, it shows you the number of minutes available... SO since you are all "eating" from one "plate" it should tell you the amount of minutes left from that. 🙂
