need advice and opinions. please be honest.
hey guys. i'm with alltel/verizon now, i was the market that got bought by verizon. i was out of contract with alltel then i resigned to get the htc touch diamond with verizon, i still have 30 days to back out, i only had this phone for a week now. i been experiencing bad call quality and static, sometimes the other person cant hear me. i was on the phone for hours with verizon and they cant seem to fix it or one said its cause the merger. well i'm in real estate and this is my only phone line. i'm thinking of switching to at&t, i saw there maps and we are fully covered and 3g too. my friends and coworkers have at&t and they love it (dallas, tx area). im with the verizon friends and family plan 10 people, but since most of my friends are at&...

Call in to tech support and get the Hybrid PRL. We are doing this until we can get the towers to work together. That's why you are having problems.

Where exactly in the Dallas Market are you located?
I am on the northern edge of the Dallas market with ATT and it is really the only service that works up here.
As far as the phone goes, the Bold is probably my favorite phone.
As far as touch screen PDAs go...there is the Samsung Epix, HTC Fuze and Iphone. At least those are all I can think of at the moment. 🙂

i live in downtown dallas, my gf has at&t for 2 years and she loves it. she has the iphone and has 3G.

I really liked it. I never sold many cause they were a little expensive (50 more than the bold after rebate) and not many people in my area need or would even understand half of the functions of a pda.

Verizon has an excellent network in the DFW area. And as far as 3G coverage, it covers the smallers communities around DFW where AT&T does not.
That being said if you want a phone on AT&T AND you are going to use it for business you should get a Bold. Not many business customers have iPhones and are happy long term. The FUZE is also a good option if you go the Windows way.
You might check with some business users you know who have AT&T. Still issues with lck of 3G or losing 3G with the better handsets like the Bold and iPhone.

I like the Fuse. There are 2 really neat features it has that just blow people away. The first works with the accelerometer in the phone. If the phone is sitting face up on your desk and starts to ring, if you do not want to answer it, just turn the phone face down and it stops. The second is if someone gives you thier business card and you want to add it to your phone book, you just take a picture of the card and then you can store the information right into the memory of the phone.
The Fuse is a bit large and hefty when compared to other phones in it's class, like the Iphone and Bold, but it works well.
