Help please! appreciate it
My mother just purchased a phone for me yesterday which she is shipping quickly to me here at college. However this is not quite the phone i was looking for and was wondering if theres a brief window in which i can exchange the phone here for something else or pay more to upgrade it etc. The phone has not been activated yet. Its a motorola v180 if that matters.

Alot of different factors fall into that... Where was it purchased? COR store or agent? Will you be within the 30 days? Does your mother have your name as an authorized user on the account with your ssn and birthdate? These are things that we need to know before being able to give you a definitive answer. 🙂

Yah just to reidirrate what Jackie said you can return a phone depending on where you got it within 30 days. Cingular offers a 30 day buyers remorse period... You do need to be authorized on the account though.

I'm betting that since Juandhi said that it's not yet activated that it's comin from online or Telesales. If it were comin from an agent we'd activate it spot on and just say "ship the phone to him/her". Remember agents only get paid if they activate it. As for return policy, most exclusives follow the Cingular 30 day policy.
