a630 Coming March 20th?
I just wanted to know if anyone has heard that date. I am about to buy an unlocked a630 and would rather wait to order it through Cingular. Should I get the unlocked or wait? Any suggestions?? Thanks

You know I went into a Cell Phone Store that Sold both Cingular and T-Mobile Phones and finally saw in person what the Motorola A630 is about and I do think it's a cool little phone but the problem it is...it's TOO Little! I mean I thought the phone was a little bigger like the size of the Treo 650 or a bigger Nokia or Blackberry. I mean if you like small phones but then this is your phone for sure but when you open it up the screen is smaller than an N-Gage and the keyboard is so small you really need small fingers to type. I just think if you are gonna have a phone with a keyboard then the Treo 650 or a Blackberry would work better. I really wanted this phone will I saw how small it was, kinda a bummer...

The moto A630 will not be released to Cingular. this info was given to us today. The problems with capturing the 800 mhz, the express mail feature,and with the bombing of the LG 9100, this phone will not be seen for Cingular.

So this phone will not be release to Cingular anymore even though it's been in Ads in Cingular Catalogs and everything? And also some stores sell that phone too...

If you are talking about the few prototypes that are out there,yes even on ebay. Also the national magazine that all the Cingular customers received, yes I guess we will eating crow on top of the A630 for some time. Technically, the phone is not that great to begin with. But to reiterate, the phone will not be officially released, where actual customers can buy the phone, no the phone will not be released.
